(3 giorni/2 notti)
Journey to discover the true unspoiled nature of the Maiella National Park, a strip of green land and wild flora, marked by centuries-old beech forests and majestic barren peaks, wildflower meadows and trails that lead to solitary hermitages perched or entrapped in stone. The route takes in scenes of incomparable beauty, environments inhabited by otters, wolves, deer, wild boar and chamois. The walk ends at the hermitage of Santo Spirito, an articulated complex of buildings leaning on a rock parapet. Renovated by Pietro da Morrone (Pope Celestine V) in the 5th decade of the 13th century, in 1263 the hermitage received protection from Urban IV, and was incorporated into the Order of St. Benedict.
